I work in customer service and do site moderation and a whole slew of other things for a well known online dating service. As I write this, I am in the midst of what has now been a 25 (and ongoing) minute conversation with a man who just does not understand what “Copy and Pasting” is. He really just doesn’t get it at all.
The following are actual quotes from this man during our conversation:
“Highlight what?”
“Why would I use glue paste on a computer?”
“Sooo… what do you mean by Notepad? Do I have to print something off and glue it in a notebook?”
“What’s a right click?”
After explaining 14 times how to drag and highlight he says, “But the words aren’t dragging to anywhere”
Sigh. This day has gone to hell. I need a cocktail.
